How many people can fish on a trip?
The Snobear accommodates 4 people total: 1 guide and up to 3 guests.
Can we bring children?
Yes. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. Family group size is determined by the ages of the children and available space.
Do I need my own fishing equipment?
No. Fishing poles and bait are included.
Do I need a South Dakota fishing license?
Yes. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own South Dakota fishing license. South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks provides online licensing.

Bring warm clothing and appropriate winter footwear even though the Snobear is temperature controlled. Drinks are BYO, snacks are up to you, and a cooler is available for your items. We provide bottled water.
Where do we meet?
Your guide will provide an exact GPS pin drop to the lake and meeting location for your trip.
When is the ice fishing season?
The season is typically around mid-December through the first part of March, depending on ice and weather conditions.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 48 hours before your trip and 100% of your deposit is refundable. If weather causes us to cancel, your deposit is also 100% refundable and the trip can be rescheduled.

Cortney Dinger
Cortney has lived in the area his entire life and has spent a lifetime fishing Northeast South Dakota. Ice fishing is his passion, and Ice Hooker Adventures was created to share that passion with guests.
With more than 120 glacial lakes across Northeast South Dakota, Cortney and the Ice Hooker Adventures team can use local knowledge, current conditions and modern technology to make the most of your day on the ice.
WHAT TO BRING
Come ready for a day on the ice.
The Snobear keeps you comfortable, but you'll still want to dress for winter conditions and bring a few personal items for your day.
Cold Weather Clothing
Bring cold weather clothing and warm boots. Even though you'll be fishing inside the temperature-controlled Snobear, we recommend dressing for winter conditions.
Drinks & Snacks
Bring your own beverages and snacks for the day. We'll provide bottled water, and a cooler is available for your items.
One Cooler
Guests may bring one cooler, up to 48 quarts. Space is limited, so please keep personal gear to what you need for the day.
